Ubuntu Administration
The Ubuntu Administration course is a 3-day training on installation and configuration of Ubuntu Desktops. It is designed for systems administrators, IT technicians, and hobbyist who are not familiar with Linux but want to gain basic knowledge on its use as a desktop operating system. The training provides a light introduction to the Linux environment. Graphical tools are used and command line operations are kept to a minimum.

Ubuntu: Ubuntu is a community developed, Linux-based operating system that is perfect for laptops, desktops and servers. It contains all the applications you need - a web browser, presentation, document and spreadsheet software, instant messaging and much more.

Learning/ Teaching Strategy:
A combination of lecture and experiential learning will be employed in teaching this course. Each participant will have access to their own virtual Ubuntu Linux desktop.Instructors:

Mr. Holden Hao completed his post graduate diploma in ICT in Education from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He is a certified Linux Professional, and has been an active member and/or officer in various ICT organizations. He is the founding president of DabaweGNU, Inc. and President of Afterfive Technologies.
