Hello Asterisk is 3 day intermediate training course for systems administrators who want to learn how to install, configure, operate, and manage a voice over IP system for Small and Medium Enterprises using the most popular open source PBX server, Asterisk.

Learning/ Teaching Strategy:
The focus of the course would be the familiarization of basic and advanced concepts used in VoIP systems and in the Asterisk server. A mixture of lecture and experiential learning strategies will be used. Each participant will get to install and configure their own virtual Linux server with Asterisk.
Instructors:
Holden M. Hao
Mr. Holden Hao completed his post graduate diploma in ICT in Education from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He is a certified Linux Professional, and has been an active member and/or officer in various ICT organizations. He is the founding president of DabaweGNU, Inc. and president of Afterfive Technologies.
He started configuring Asterisk servers in 2005. In the same year, he was invited as a speaker on Asterisk at Linux World Philippines held in Makati City. Since then he has configured several Asterisk servers for Small and Medium Enterprises.

Prerequisites:
Participants must have basic Linux administration skills and be familiar with navigating and editing from the terminal. Previous attendance to our LiSA course would be an advantage.
