With the 6th Mindanao ICT Congress and the First BIMP-EAGA ICT conference fast approaching, major ICT players have expressed support in sponsoring the biggest ICT event for Southern Philippines.

Among the major sponsors are Bayan Telecommunications, IBM, Kaisa Consulting, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) with more signing up everyday. Yehey is the official online media partner while Computerworld and Enterprise magazines are among the publications supporting the event.

With the Commission on ICT (CICT) and the Business Process Association of the Philippines (BPAP) as major cooperators, it is expected that this edition of the Mindanao ICT Congress, held in its birthplace of Davao City from October 23-24, 2007, will prove to be the place to be for serious players, investors and stakeholders in the ICT industry.

It is expected that an estimated 500-600 local and international delegates will converge in Davao City to discuss major initiatives to boost the southern end of the Philippine Cyber Corridor and establish Mindanao and its key cities as the new frontier for BPO and ICT development.
